The challenge
An owner has a long relationship with their car, but it is conducted through several separate parties: the garage, customer service, the leasing company, and the drawer where the paperwork lives.
Each holds part of the picture and none holds all of it. So even something as ordinary as booking a service takes a phone call and two questions an owner should never have needed to answer.
We wanted one screen where the car tells its own story.
Nobody opens a manufacturer's app for fun. There is always a question behind it
- 01Start from the momentsWe mapped the moments an owner genuinely opens a manufacturer's app. There are few of them, and every one begins with a question.
- 02Give the car an identityThe main screen is the car itself: how it is doing, what is coming up, and what needs something from you now.
- 03Connect to what existsThe information already lived in the importer's systems. The work was bringing it out in a shape a person can read.
- 04Design in Hebrew firstA properly Hebrew interface, not a translation of a screen built for English.
- 05Leave room to growEach release added capability without breaking the first screen.

What was hard
A global brand arrives with a fixed visual language and with systems that were never built to talk to an app. Most of the hard work never shows up on screen.
And after a decade of partnership, every addition is also measured by what it does to the people already used to the screen before it.
